Prepared Docs for firms
The document work your firm does not bill for
Chasing what is missing, reading what arrives, telling somebody their scan is unreadable, and assembling four hundred pages into something the other side can follow. It is most of the job and none of the fee. The firm suite is that work, done by the product.
Priced per person. You are only charged for the people you invite.

The firm suite
What a firm gets that a person working alone does not
Anyone can start on their own without a card. The moment the work involves a client or a colleague, these are the parts that carry it.
A client portal with a link, not a login
Clients get a secure link, not an account to create and forget. They see what is outstanding, upload from a phone, and the request updates itself as they go.
Every request writes to the same record, so what the client did is part of the case history rather than a separate inbox.

Document requests that chase themselves
Ask for what a case needs. Reminders go out on the cadence your firm sets, during the hours your firm keeps, and stop when the document arrives.
One readiness view across the caseload
Every case carries a score based on documents somebody has confirmed, not attachments received. The stalled cases are visible without opening any of them.
A team with roles that mean something
Owner, attorney, paralegal, staff and outside collaborator, each with permissions you can grant and revoke individually rather than by rank.
Templates so the second case is faster
Save a request list as a template and apply it to the next matter. Save a packet structure and every export comes out in the same order.
A record that cannot be edited
Who touched which document, when, and what changed, including what a client did through the portal. Filterable by case, person and action.
One engine
The same five steps, whatever the submission is
Collect, identify, validate, organise, package. That sequence is the same whether the submission is a petition, a claim, an exhibit set or a loan file. What changes is the vocabulary and the checklist, and both of those are yours to set.
- 1
Collect
Requests go out, documents come back
- 2
Identify
Each file is read and named for what it is
- 3
Validate
Unreadable, duplicate and blurry are caught
- 4
Organise
Everything lands against the item it answers
- 5
Package
The submission comes out in a fixed order
Where it is used
One engine, several kinds of firm
A firm that works across two of these does not need two products, or two sets of documents, or two bills.
Price
What it costs
On this page rather than behind a form, because a firm deciding whether to look further should not have to talk to anybody first.

Working on your own needs no card. The firm suite is what a firm pays for, and you are only charged for the people you invite to it.
Diligence
The questions firms ask first
- Where do the files actually live?
- In object storage under your firm's account, stored exactly as they arrived. Client links are signed, short lived and revocable, and a revoked link stops working immediately.
- Is the original ever modified?
- No. Compression, renaming, packets and exhibits all produce a new document beside the original. The file a client sent stays byte for byte what they sent.
- Can we get everything out?
- Yes, whenever you want, as an archive with an inventory listing every document, where it came from and when it arrived. Leaving is a download, not a support ticket.
- What if we work across practice areas?
- One firm, one team, one billing relationship. Cases carry their own category and checklist, so an immigration matter and a claims matter sit in the same account without pretending to be the same thing.
Prepared Docs organises documents and does not provide legal advice. Checklists and packet structures are administrative workflows your firm configures, not statements of what any agency, court or carrier requires. Always confirm filing requirements on the receiving organization’s own guidance.
Set it up on one case and see
Create the firm, send one client a link, and watch what comes back get read, named and filed against what you asked for. That is the whole product in an afternoon.
